I was born and raised in Washington State but growing up in a small town I longed to explore the world and my place in it. After attending North Dakota State University and the University of Montana, majoring in Wildlife Biology, I enlisted in the US Army serving for 6 years working as an Apache Helicopter Mechanic and an instructor to newly enlisted recruits.
Afterwards, my wife and I worked for many years with a Non-profit organization that allowed us the opportunity to live in Hawaii, Hungary, England and South Africa working with different cultures and people from all over the world.
My experiences in the military and living and working overseas prepared me well for my next chapter as a Human Resource Director for over 10 years in the Retirement and Manufacturing industries.
Traveling to Florida over the years to visit my wife’s family, we often dreamed of leaving the rainy Pacific Northwest for the Sunshine State and finally made the move in 2022 and have had no regrets. There is so much that the area has to offer, and I am glad I now get an opportunity to help others create a home and life here as well.
